브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 농협중앙회는 집중호우로 피해를 입은 농업인을 위해 피해복구에 모든 역량을 집중하고 있는 가운데, 농업인의 피해 회복을 위해 추가로 25억 규모의 성금을 전달한다고 31일 밝혔다.
추가 성금은 농·축협에서 5억원, 농협재단에서 20억원 등 총 25억원으로 집중호우 피해지역 조합원들의 피해복구 및 농업인자녀 장학금 등을 위해 지원될 예정이다.
앞서 농협은 지난 18일 집중호우 피해 농업인에게 △무이자 재해자금 3000억원 지원 △범농협 및 임직원 성금 30억원 지원 △병해충 약제 할인, 공동방제, 침수 농기계 무상 수리 △원예농산물 수급 안정 추진 △축사 긴급방역·자재 지원 △긴급생활안정자금 지원 및 대출원리금 납입 유예 △피해복구 장비 투입 및 피해지역 집중 일손돕기 등을 추진하면서 영농지원과 금융·생활안정에 전사적인 노력을 집중하고 있다.
집중호우 이후 전국에서 농협 임직원, 자원봉사자 등 피해복구에 현재 연인원 기준 5만8000명(7월 30일 기준)의 복구 인력을 지원했으며, 피해지역 농업인들의 일상회복을 위해 범농협차원의 일손돕기를 지속하고 있다.
31일에는 집중호우 피해가 심각한 경북 예천군에 이재식 농협중앙회 부회장, 윤성훈 경북본부장 등 범농협 임직원 50여명이 고추·인삼밭 복구 작업에 나서는 한편 세탁차량 봉사도 실시했다.
