브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 균일가 생활용품점 ㈜아성다이소는 ‘사회적 협동조합 101동 마리에뜨’에 주방용품을 전달했다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 기부 물품은 주방용품 총 8만5000여 개(약 2억6000만 원)로 마리에뜨를 통해 경기도 광주시청, 안양시 비산종합사회복지관, 여성가족부 산하 ‘한국여성인권진흥원’ 등 총 8개 기관에 전달, 가정폭력 피해 여성과 미혼모 등 도움이 필요한 여성들에게 쓰일 예정이다.
다이소 관계자는 “다이소에서 준비한 기부 물품을 사회적 관심과 도움이 필요한 취약계층에게 전달할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 다이소는 기업의 사회적 책임을 다할 수 있는 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 진행할 계획이다”고 전했다.
한편, 다이소는 마리에뜨를 통해 작년 7월에는 아제르바이잔의 보육시설에 아동 물품을 전달했으며, 올해 5월에는 어린이날을 맞아 인천지역의 아동 보호시설에 어린이날 행사를 지원한 바 있다.
