민생당 박성준 수석대변인은 6일 “대국민 이념전쟁을 중단하라”는 제목의 논평을 발표했다.
이 논평에서 “국민은 추석을 앞두고 물가와 민생 걱정에 한숨이 길어지는데, 윤석열 정부는 국민을 상대로 이념전쟁에 몰두하고 있는 것이 현재 대한민국의 상황이다. 이 얼마나 한심하고 통탄할 노릇인가?“면서 ”윤석열 정권이 언제부터 이념을 그렇게 중요시했는가? 국민이 키운 후보라며 보수 진보를 막론하고 국민만 바라보고 가겠다는 그 당당한 포부는 어디로 갔으며, 노무현 대통령을 존경한다는 그 말은 그냥 환심을 사려고 했던 말 장난에 지나지 않았다는 말인가“라고 따졌다.
이어 “대한의 독립을 위해 목숨 바치신 독립운동가를 모욕하고 정권의 반대되는 세력들은 모두 좌경용공으로 몰아붙이는 모습이 부끄러운 현대사의 일부분인 군사독재 정권의 모습을 2023년에 보고 있자니 분노보단 불쌍한 마음마저 드는 것이 사실이다. 군사독재 정권의 하수인 노릇을 하던 공안부 검사들의 모습이 현재 윤석열 정권에서 여실히 드러나고 있다. 총선을 앞두고 정치공학적인 계산을 열심히 하고 있는 것 같은데, 그 계산할 시간에 민생과 경제에 관한 계산을 더 열심히 하길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
민생당은 “윤석열 정권의 철 지난 이념전쟁을 즉각 중단하고 한 달도 남지 않은 추석 물가 관리와 하반기 경제 지수를 한번이라도 더 보고 대비할 것을 촉구하며, 추석을 앞두고 민생경제를 더욱 살피고 대안을 마련하겠다”고 다짐했다.

In this commentary, “The people are sighing for a long time due to concerns about prices and people’s livelihood ahead of Chuseok, but the current situation in the Republic of Korea is that the Yoon Seok-yeol government is preoccupied with an ideological war against the people.
“How pathetic and deplorable is this?” and “Since when did the Yoon Seok-yeol administration place so much importance on ideology? “Where has gone his confident ambition of saying he is a candidate raised by the people, regardless of whether they are conservative or progressive, and that he will only look after the people? Are his words of respect for President Roh Moo-hyun nothing more than a play on words to win favor?” he asked.
He continued, “Seeing in 2023 the military dictatorship regime, which is a shameful part of modern history, insulting the independence activists who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Korea and labeling all opposing forces as leftist communists, I feel pity rather than anger. It is true. The appearance of prosecutors from the Ministry of Public Security who served as servants of the military dictatorship is clearly revealed in the current Yoon Seok-yeol regime. He added, “It seems like they are working hard on political engineering calculations ahead of the general election, and I hope that they will work even harder on calculations regarding people’s livelihood and the economy during that calculation time.”
The Minsaeng Party said, “We urge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration to immediately stop the outdated ideological war, manage prices for Chuseok, which is less than a month away, and look at the economic index for the second half of the year to prepare at least once. We will further examine the people’s livelihood economy ahead of Chuseok and prepare alternatives.” I promised.
