브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대표는 22일 이재명 더불어민주당 대표의 체포동의안이 국회에서 가결된 것과 관련 "이재명 대표의 단식은 안타까운 마음이 있지만 백현동 개발사업 특혜 의혹과 쌍방울 대북송금 의혹에 대한 국회 체포동의안 가결은 지극히 당연한 국민의 뜻"이라고 밝혔다.
조 대표는 이날 보도자료를 통해 "깨끗하고 정의로운 대한민국, 우리 시대 청년들에게 부끄럽지 않은 대한민국을 위해 이재명 대표를 즉각 구속 수사해야 한다. 그것이 국민의 명령이다"라며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "이재명 대표가 사실상 ‘부결 지령’을 내리며 스스로 불체포특권 포기 선언을 뒤집은 것은 이재명 대표의 그릇이 얼마나 작은지를 보여준 것"이라며 "한 입으로 두 말을 하는 이재명 대표는 더 이상 국민을 우롱해서는 안된다. 이재명 대표는 당당하게 법의 심판을 받아야 한다"고 비판했다.
그는 또한 "조국 전 장관 아들에게 허위 인턴 확인서를 발급해 대학원 입시 업무를 방해한 혐의로 기소된 최강욱 의원이 의원직을 상실했고, 돈봉투를 받은 적이 없다던 윤관석 의원은 법정에서 돈봉투를 수수했다고 이실직고했다"면서 "정말 민주당 정치인들의 패륜적 행위는 어디까지 가는가. 뻔뻔하게 200차례 이상 국회 회의중에서 코인 거래를 한 김남국 의원 제명을 거부하고 아직도 비호하는 더불어민주당은 참으로 한심하기 짝이 없다"고 꼬집었다.
그러면서 "이재명 대표가 최소한의 양심이 있다면 이제 당 대표직에서 물러나서 재판에 성실히 임해야 한다"고 덧붙였다.

Yoon Kwan-seok, who said he had never received a money envelope, confessed in court that he received the money envelope," adding, "How far does the immoral behavior of Democratic Party politicians really go?" "The Democratic Party of Korea, which has refused to expel Kim Nam-guk, who brazenly traded coins during more than 200 parliamentary meetings, and still protects it, is truly pathetic," he pointed out.
He added, "If Representative Lee Jae-myung has the least conscience, he should step down from his position as the party leader and faithfully participate in the trial."
