브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 김행 여성가족부장관 후보자가 12일 자진 사퇴 의사를 밝혔다.
김행 후보자는 이날 오후 기자들에게 보낸 입장문을 통해 "여가부장관 후보자 지명 이후 긴 시간을 보냈다. 특히 어제 늦게까지 강서구 보궐선거를 지켜봤다"면서 "저는 후보 이전에 국민의힘 당원이다. 당원으로서 선당후사의 자세로 후보자직을 자진 사퇴하기로 결심했다"고 말했다.
김 후보자는 "윤석열 정부와 국민의힘을 위해 제가 선택할 수 있는 방법은 이 길뿐이라는 결론에 이르렀다"며 "인사권자인 윤석열 대통령께 누가 돼 죄송하다. 본인의 사퇴가 윤석열 정부와 국민의힘에 조금이라도 도움이 되길 기대한다"고 했다.
