브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 서민의 주거복지 일환인 공공임대주택에 살면서 입주 기준가액을 넘는 자산을 보유한 사례가 상당수 발견됐다.
19일 장철민 더불어민주당 의원이 LH와 주택관리공단으로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면 공공임대주택 입주기준을 초과한 고가차량 보유 세대가 61세대 적발됐다.
공공임대의 입주자 선정 기준은 △무주택 세대 △총자산 2억5500만원(영구), 3억6100만원(국민) △자동차가액 3683만 원 이하여야 가능하다.
하지만 적발된 사례를 보면, 대전충남 대전반석4 단지에선 페라리 599 GTB 피오라노 모델이, 대구경북 대구태전1 단지에선 마세타리 기블리를 소유한 입주민이 있었다. 이밖에도 벤츠, BMW, Jeep, 제네시스 등을 보유한 입주민이 다수 발견됐다.
최고가 차량은 광주아름마을1 단지에서 적발된 BMW(모델 iXxDrive50)로, 차량가액은 9794만원으로 1억원에 육박했다.
현행 공공주택 업무처리지침에 따라 영구, 국민 등 재계약 시 기준가액을 초과하는 자산을 소유한 것이 확인될 경우라도 1회에 한 해 재계약의 유예가 가능하다. 이 점으로 인해 이러한 불합리한 사례가 연례적으로 발견된다는 게 장철민 의원의 지적이다.
장철민 의원은 “고가자산 보유 세대들에 대한 재계약 유예가 자칫 더 어렵고 더 입주 조건을 완벽하게 갖추고 계신 분들의 기회를 뺏는 꼴이 될 수 있다”라며 “기준가액 초과자산 입주민에 대해서는 일괄적인 재계약 유예가 아닌 일정기간만 퇴거나 처분 기간으로 준다든가 하는 식으로 정말로 필요한 국민들에게 임대주택 입주 혜택이 돌아갈 수 있도록 개선이 필요하다”라고 말했다.
