브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 프랑스 파리에서 24일부터 26일(현지시간)까지 열리는 ‘Network X 2023’ 전시회에 참가해 차세대 인터넷 솔루션을 소개한다고 23일 밝혔다.
‘Network X 2023’은 전세계 300개 이상의 장비 및 칩셋 업체와 통신사가 참여하는 세계 최대의 통신 전시회다. KT는 과학기술정보통신부와 한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)이 추진하는 ‘차세대 인터넷 고도화(엑세스망 지능화) 사업’의 일환으로 국내 장비업체와 함께 참가한다.
KT는 이번 전시회에서 파트너사와 공동 개발한 지능형 관제 기반 초소형 OLT 및 멀티-기가 스위치 인프라 솔루션(다산네트웍솔루션즈), 와이파이 기반 구독형 스마트홈 솔루션(가온브로드밴드)을 비롯해, 자체 개발한 ‘차세대 SDN 컨트롤러 솔루션’ 등을 선보인다.
‘초소형 OLT(광선로 종단장치)’는 통신국사와 빌딩의 구내 네트워크 환경 등에 최적화된 인프라 솔루션이다. 네트워크 장애를 탐지하는 기능이 적용돼 먼 거리의 통신국사에서도 빌딩 내 장비를 안정적으로 운용할 수 있다. 공간이 협소해도 설치가 용이해 빌딩 구내 네트워크 전체를 광케이블로 구축하거나 원거리 통신 환경에 적용이 가능하다.
‘멀티-기가 스위치’는 광케이블 설치가 어려운 기존 아파트와 빌딩의 랜선(UTP 케이블, 4선/8선) 기반 네트워크 환경에서도 하나의 장비로 1Gbps 속도의 기가인터넷과 10Gbps 속도의 10기가인터넷을 동시에 제공할 수 있게 하는 장치다.
‘와이파이 기반 구독형 스마트 홈 솔루션’은 홈 와이파이 단말(WiFi AP)로 가정 내 인터넷 접속 시 악성코드나 유해사이트 차단, 자녀의 인터넷 사용 관리, 홈IoT 등 다양한 종류의 스마트 홈 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 솔루션이다.
‘차세대 SDN(소프트웨어 정의 네트워크) 컨트롤러 솔루션’은 SDN 표준 중 하나인 ‘NETCONF/YANG’ 표준을 바탕으로 현재 운용되는 모든 네트워크 장비를 수용할 수 있는 솔루션이다. 장비 설정에 필요한 명령어를 자동 입력하고, 이상 발생 시 원클릭으로 복구하는 기능 등이 탑재돼 복잡한 네트워크 장비를 손쉽게 운용할 수 있는 점이 특징이다.
