동국대 WISE캠퍼스, 나왕 케촉 초청 명상 콘서트 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE캠퍼스(총장 이영경)는 오는 11월 3일 오후 2시 교내 백상관 컨벤션홀에서 세계적인 명상 음악가인 나왕 케촉을 초청하여 명상 콘서트를 개최한다고 27일 밝혔다.

이번 콘서트는 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 선센터가 건학이념 구현 및 불교 특성화와 "부처님 법 전합시다"의 일환으로 지역사회에 기여하기 위해 추진하는 것으로 1부 티베트 플루트 연주와 2부 특강으로 진행된다.

나왕 케촉은 티베트 출신의 세계적인 뉴에이지 음악가로 티베트인 최초 그래미상 후보에 올랐으며, 브래드 피트가 주연한 ‘티벳에서의 7년’ 영화 음악에 참여하였고, 티베트하우스 콘서트와 자선 모금 티베트독립 콘서트 등에 매년 출연해 평화를 주제로 연주하는 등 평화와 인권운동가로도 다양한 활동을 벌이고 있다.
