【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 11월 8일 대전컨벤션센터에서 개최된 2023 산학협력 EXPO ‘K-Tour Idea Challenge 2023’에서 호텔관광경영학전공 재학생들이 대상을 수상했다고 14일 밝혔다.

교육부, 한국관광공사, 한국연구재단이 주관 및 후원을 한 이번 행사는 지역관광산업 활성화를 위한 관광거점도시 기반 LINC 3.0 사업단의 공유·협업 프로그램으로 진행되었다.
참여대학 학생들의 참신한 아이디어를 기반으로 지역관광산업 활성화에 필요한 정책과 아이디어를 발굴하는 이번 공모전은 지난 9월과 10월, 대학별 예선을 거쳐 본선 진출팀을 선발하였으며, 각 대학을 대표하는 8개 팀이 최종 발표평가를 진행했다.
동국대 WISE캠퍼스 호텔관광경영학전공의 ‘MZ_EZ’팀(이민형, 김양경, 박진성, 변준영, 이연서)이 대상으로 선정돼 한국연구재단 이사장상을 받게 되었다.
대상을 수상한 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 호텔관광경영학전공 3학년 이민형 학생은 “LINC 3.0 사업의 실무형 교육을 접하면서 많은 도움이 되었고, 원하는 결과를 얻기 위해 많은 시간과 열정을 들였던 만큼 대상을 수상하게 되어 매우 기쁘다며, ”역시 중꺾마! 중요한 건 꺾이지 않는 마음”이라고 수상 소감을 밝혔다.
학생들을 지도한 호텔관광경영학전공 윤영일 교수는 “LINC 3.0 사업의 체계적 융합교육을 통해 축적된 역량이 발휘되어 좋은 성과를 이루게 되었다고 생각한다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.
참여대학들은 이번 공모전에서 제안된 우수 아이디어를 지자체, 지역기관 및 단체와의 연계협력을 통해 실제 활용 방법을 적극적으로 모색하고 실질적인 성과로 이어나갈 계획이다.
