인천지역사 연구도서 전자책 누리집 통해 공개

(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 2일부터 인천광역시사 및 인천역사문화총서 약 100여 권을 전자책 누리집을 통해 공개한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 시는 2002년부터 인천 지역사의 체계적인 정리를 위해 향토 자료를 발굴하고 이를 바탕으로 인천광역시사 및 인천역사문화총서 약 100여 권을 발간해 왔다.

도서관을 찾기 어려운 시민들을 위해 그간 발간한 책자를 고화질의 전자책으로 열람할 수 있도록 해 인천 지역사 연구 자료에 대한 시민들의 접근성과 편의성을 높이고자 했다.

인천시는 1965년 시사편찬위원회 구성 이래로, 1973년 ?인천시사?를 시작으로 약 10년 주기로 편찬 사업을 추진했으며, 2013년 이후 매해 주제사 편찬 사업을 이어오고 있다.

또, 2003년 인천역사문화총서 제1호 ‘인천의 역사와 문화’를 시작으로, 매해 고문서 번역서, 문화유산, 자연환경, 생활과 문화 등 다양한 주제의 지역사 연구 성과들을 발간해 왔으며, 2024년 100호 발간을 앞두고 있다.
