한울본부 사업자지원사업으로 지원한 이번 행사는 약 7,000명의 군민과 관광객이 참여한 가운데 근남면 망양정 광장, 울진읍 현내항, 북면 나곡해수욕장, 죽변면 비상활주로 등 각 읍·면에서 진행됐다.
이번 행사에는 새해 소망을 기원하는 풍물놀이, 소원지 쓰기, 달집태우기 등 다채로운 프로그램 외에도 현장을 찾은 관광객들이 희망찬 기운과 따뜻한 정을 느낄 수 있도록 떡국, 차, 핫팩 등 나눔도 함께 시행했다.
이세용 본부장은 “2024년 푸른 용의 기운을 받아 울진군 모든 가정에 행복이 가득하시길 바란다”라며“새해에도 발전소를 안전하고 투명하게 운영하고, 지역과 상생하여사회적 가치를 실현하는 한울본부가 되겠다”라고 새해 다짐을 전했다.
