[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 행정안전부 주관 ‘2023년도 자연재난 안전도 진단’에서 최고등급인 A등급을 받아 전년도 평가보다 한단계 상승한 자연재난 안전도 진단결과를 기록했다고 10일 밝혔다.

김해시는 전국 상위 15% 이내의 지자체에게 주어지는 최고등급 A등급을 받았으며 경남도내에서 안전도지수 1위의 성과를 얻었다.

행정안전부는 전국 228개 지자체를 대상으로 매년 자연재난 안전도 진단을 실시하고 있으며 자연재해 위험요인 방재대책추진 시설점검·정비 3개 분야 53개 진단항목을 중앙진단반에서 검증해 A~E등급을 산정한다.

자연재난 안전도 A등급인 김해시는 향후 자연재해등으로 인한 피해발생시 피해복구비의 2%를 국고 추가지원 받을 수 있으며 소방안전교부세 산정기준에 활용될 예정이다.

시 관계자는 “이상기후로 인해 자연재난이 잦을 것으로 예상되는 만큼 잠재적 재난 위험요인을 사전 파악·조치해 시민들이 안심하고 살 수 있는 안전한 김해를 만들기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
