저자 심호 모세원(深湖 牟世源) 박사 ‘소개’
저자 심호 모세원(深湖 牟世源) 박사는 1938년 목포에서 태어나 목포 북교초등학교, 목포 중고등학교를 졸업했다. 고려대학교 정치외교학과를 나와 단국대 대학원에서 정치학 박사 학위를 받았다. 육군 중위로 제대하고 조선일보와 동아일보 기자를 지냈다. 국립 목포대학교 정치외교학과에서 국제정치학을 강의하고 정년 퇴임한 후 (재)민주당 국가전략연구소 소장을 지냈다.
1918년 80세에 시집 ‘서럽게 떠난 님’(좋은땅)을 펴내고, 85세 때인 2023년 6월부터 11월까지 42회에 걸쳐 ‘멤버십’이라는 이름으로 본지(breaknews)에 연재한 소설을, ‘파랑새는 울지 않는다’는 제목으로 올 1월에 출간했다.
