브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 말산업 전문인력 양성 및 역량강화를 위해 오는 3월부터 ‘2024년 말산업 국가인적자원개발컨소시엄 교육과정’을 시작한다.
한국마사회는 2016년 고용노동부로부터 중소기업 재직근로자의 직업능력을 개발시키기 위한 ‘국가인적자원개발컨소시엄 사업’ 운영기관으로 선정됐다.
이후 마사회는 말산업 분야 컨소시엄 교육을 통해 2023년까지 총 3389명의 교육생을 배출하며, 말산업 현장인력의 전문성 강화에 힘쓰고 있다.
올해 말산업 전문인력 양성 컨소시엄 교육은 승마, 조련, 장제 등 14개 과정이 진행되며, 총 502명의 참여자에게 교육의 기회가 제공된다.
이번 교육은 ‘말산업분야 재직자 및 대표자’ 중 말산업 분야 직무능력 향상을 원하는 사람이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 특히, 올해는 ‘말관리 매니저 양성과정’이 신설되어 교육과정의 연계성이 강화됐다.
교육 희망자는 내달 1일부터 말산업 정보포털 ‘호스피아’를 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 적합여부 및 승인 절차를 거쳐 최종 교육대상자로 선발된다.
중소기업에 재직 중인 교육생의 교육비는 전액 면제되며 100인 이상 대규모기업 소속 교육생은 교육비의 80%가 지원된다. 교육은 과천, 제주 지역 내 마사회 및 협력시설의 교육장에서 이뤄지며 과정별로 교육장소 및 시행기간이 상이하기 때문에 신청 전에 꼼꼼하게 살펴볼 필요가 있다.
한국마사회 정기환 회장은 “말산업 분야 기업에 양질의 교육을 제공함으로서 신성장 동력 확보에 기여하고 나아가 말산업 일자리 창출을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
