29일 중소기업중앙회에 따르면 지난 8일부터 16일까지 811개 중소기업을 대상으로 실시한 ‘2024년 중소기업 설 자금 수요조사’ 결과, 작년 설 대비 자금사정이 ‘곤란하다’는 응답이 26.6%로 ‘원활하다’는 응답(17.3%)보다 높았다. ‘작년과 다르지 않다’는 응답은 56.1%였다.
자금사정 곤란원인으로는 ‘판매·매출 부진’(65.7%)을 가장 많이 꼽았고, △원·부자재 가격 상승(52.3%) △인건비 상승(32.4%) △판매대금 회수 지연(10.2%) 등이었다.
작년 설 대비 금융기관을 통한 자금조달 여건이 ‘원활하다’라는 응답은 19.5%를 차지했고, ‘곤란하다’라는 응답(11.6%)보다 ‘작년과 다르지 않다’는 응답(68.9%)이 더 높게 나타났다.

상여금 지급 수준은 정액 지급시 1인당 평균 60만9000원으로 작년 설(40만원) 대비 20만9000원 증가했으며, 정률 지급 시 기본급의 평균 60.3%를 지급할 것이라고 답했다.
설 휴무계획에 대해서는 94.7%의 업체가 설 공휴일(2월 9~12일)에만 휴무할 것이라고 응답했고, 5.3%의 업체가 공휴일 외에 추가로 휴무하며 추가 휴무일은 평균 1.3일로 조사됏다.
추문갑 중기중앙회 경제정책본부장은 “작년에 이어 올해도 중소기업은 자금조달의 가장 큰 애로요인으로 고금리를 꼽았다. 판매·매출부진과 고금리 장기화로 금융부담이 가중된 중소기업을 위해 저금리 대환대출 활성화, 대출만기 연장 등 실질적으로 체감가능한 지원이 확대돼야 한다”며 “자금 선순환으로 중소기업과 소상공인의 경제활력이 회복될 수 있도록 정책기관과 금융권의 적극적인 관심과 지원이 필요하다”고 전했다.
