이를 위해 유기종산업복합서비스지원단지 유기농 에듀캠프, 경춘순환 들녘특구, 스마트팜 표고버섯 재배단지 조성 등과 대형저온저장고 및 저온유통센터 건립 등을 진행할 계획이다.
먼저 유기농산업복합서비스지원단지 조성은 2023년 2월 국비공모사업으로 선정되어국도비 117억원을 포함한 총사업비 212억원으로 2023년부터 2027년까지 5년간 추진되며, 왕피천공원 인근 부지 69,706㎡에 유기농복합문화센터(농가맛집, 판매장, 카페 등), 미래농업체험장, 청년유기농사관학교를 운영한다.
현재, 부지 매입이 완료되어 기본계획 수립 중이며 내년도에 공사를 착공하여 2028년개장을 목표로 추진 중에 있다.
유기농 에듀캠프 조성은 지방소멸대응기금과 한수원 사업자지원사업비 등약 21억원으로 진행되며, 스마트팜 비닐온실 4동, 아쿠아포닉스 1동 등 친환경농업 현장실습교육장 조성과 기존 친환경농업교육장 숙소 리모델링을 추진한다.
