브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이랜드복지재단은 ㈜뷰티플휴먼과 위기가정지원 ‘SOS위고(WEGO)’ 후원금 전달식을 지난 달 31일 서울 강서구에 위치한 ㈜뷰티플휴먼 사옥에서 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.
뷰티플휴먼에서 준비한 3000만원 후원금은 ‘SOS위고’ 사업의 일환으로 복지사각지대에 놓인 한부모가정 위기해결과 자립지원을 위해 사용될 예정이다.
‘SOS위고’는 이랜드복지재단이 정부로부터 지원 받지 못하는 복지사각지대에 놓인 가정에게 주거비, 생계비, 치료비, 자립비 등을 지원하고, 정상적인 생활로 복귀할 수 있도록 돕는 사업이다.
특히, 갑작스러운 실직, 질병, 사고 등으로 어려움을 겪는 가정을 위해 국내 최초로 위기지원 3일 지원시스템을 구축하고, 현장실사를 거쳐 위기가정 발굴부터 지원까지 3일만에 신속하게 이뤄진다.
이랜드복지재단 정영일 대표는 “복지사각지대에 놓인 위기가정 지원을 위해 함께한 ㈜뷰티플휴먼에 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “자선플랫폼 ‘에브리즈’를 통해서 후원 대상 발굴, 선정, 지원 및 후원 피드백까지 진행하고, 투명한 절차로 어려운 이웃을 진정성 있게 돕겠다”고 말했다.
