평일 야간과 휴일에도 신속한 외래 진료 서비스를 제공하고 있는 ‘달빛어린이병원’ 현판식이 1일 있었다.
세종시는 이날 웰키즈소아청소년과의원에서 ‘달빛어린이병원’ 1호 지정 기념 현판식을 갖고 운영에 들어갔다.
이날 현판식에는 최민호 세종시장, 이순열 세종시의회의장, 김충식 부의장, 병원 관계자 등 20여 명이 참석했다.
달빛어린이병원은 소아 경증 환자가 야간·휴일에도 응급실이 아닌 외래 진료를 받을 수 있도록 운영하는 시도 지정 의료기관이다.
웰키즈소아청소년과의원은 지난해 8월 달빛어린이병원으로 지정됐으며 2025년 7월 31일까지 주 7일 연중무휴로 의료서비스를 제공한다.
진료 시간은 평일 오전 8시부터 오후 11시까지, 토·일요일과 공휴일은 오전 9시부터 오후 9시까지다.
진료 후 약을 제조 받을 수 있도록 달빛어린이병원과 가까운 아람약국, 맑음약국, 아름수약국은 협력약국으로 지정·운영 중이다.
최민호 시장은 “이번 달빛어린이병원 1호 현판식은 그동안 달빛어린이병원을 운영한 웰키즈소아청소년과의원에 감사를 전하는 자리”라며 “소아 경증환자 수용 개선과 응급실 과밀화 해소, 외래진료를 통한 의료비 부담 경감 등을 위해 달빛어린이병원 지정 확대에 나설 것”이라고 말했다.
