한울본부, “발전소 주변지역 농가에 농자재 지원”

이를 위해 한울본부는 15일 북면농업협동조합(조합장 어승수, 이하 북면농협) 및 울진농업협동조합(조합장 임경수, 이하 울진농협)과 함께 발전소 주변지역 농자재 지원사업 협약을 체결했다.

이번 사업은 발전소 주변지역 농가의 생산성 향상과 경비 절감을 위해 비료와 토양 덮개 비닐 구매를 지원하는 사업으로, 2015년 북면 지원사업을 시작으로 2020년에는 울진읍, 죽변면까지 대상지역을 확대하였고지금까지 약 24억원을 후원했다.

올해는 북면, 울진읍, 죽변면 농업인을 위해 총 6억 5000만원을 지원할 계획이다.

어승수 조합장은 “한울본부가 발전소 주변지역 농자재 지원사업을 통해 매년 아낌없는 지원을 해주어 깊은 감사를 드린다” 라고 고마움을 표했다.

임경수 조합장은 “발전소 주변의 농가마다 비료뿐 아니라 토양 덮개 비닐까지 모두지원해줘서 농업인들의 생업 만족도가 향상됐다” 라고 답했다.

이에 이세용 본부장은 “사업자지원사업을 통해 농업인에게 도움을 줄 수 있어 기쁘다” 라며 “앞으로도 지역경제 활성화를 위해 한울본부가앞장설 수 있도록 많은 응원과 관심을 부탁드린다”라고 전했다.
