윤석열 대통령이 지난 7일 고 김영삼 전 대통령 부인 고 손명순 여사 별세 소식을 듣고 애도의 뜻을 표했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
윤 대통령은 "손명순 여사님께서 하늘의 부르심을 받으셨다. 보내드리는 마음은 안타깝지만 하늘에서 김영삼 대통령님을 만나 행복하게 계시리라 믿는다"며 "김현철 이사장님을 비롯 유가족 여러분께 마음 담아 위로 말씀을 드리며 여사님 떠나시는 길 편히 잘 모셔주시길 바란다"고 밝혔다고 김수경 대통령실 대변인이 전했다.
