【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 지난 7일 한울 홍보관 인근에서 테러에 대비한민·관·군·경·소방 통합 방호 훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

한울본부에 따르면 이번 훈련은 대테러 대비태세와 현장대응 작전종결 능력을 완비하기 위해 육군 50사단 주관하에 실시했다. 한울본부의 청원경찰 및 특수경비대, 자체 소방대를 포함하여 육군 50사단 예하부대 등 관련 유관기관 총 160여명이 동원됐다.
훈련은 한울본부의 드론탐지장비(RF스캐너) 상 미승인 드론이 탐지되어 원전방향으로 고속침투되는 상황으로 근무자가 재밍건(주파수교란장비)을 활용하여 드론 무력화를 시도하였으나 본관에 충돌하여 폭발하고 테러범이 2차 폭발 위협과 함께 인질극을 벌였다.
이에 청원경찰은 즉시 보고체계에 따라 전파하여 본부 내 주둔한 초동조치부대와 해룡여단 증원부대, 울진경찰서 초동대응팀이 출동하여 일대를 수색하였다.
검문소에서 접근을 통제함과 동시에 드론 폭발지점의 방사능 유출 여부를 확인하고 화재진압, 구조활동, 폭발물 탐지, 특공대의 테러범 제압으로 훈련은 마무리됐다.
이세용 본부장은 “실전 같은 훈련, 훈련 같은 실전이 중요하다” 라며 “이번 훈련을 통해 한울본부는 어떠한 위협에도 단호히 대응할 것이다”라고 전했다.
