(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 경인지방통계청이 13일, 2024년 2월 인천시 고용동향을 발표했다.
자료에서 15세이상인구 및 경제활동인구를 살펴보면, 2024년 2월 15세이상인구는 265만 3천명으로 전년동월대비 4만 9천명(1.9%) 증가했다.
경제활동인구는 172만 2천명으로 전년동월대비 3만 2천명(1.9%) 증가했으며, 경제활동참가율은 64.9%로 전년동월과 동일했다.
비경제활동인구는 93만 1천명으로 전년동월대비 1만 6천명(1.8%) 증가했으며, 성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 33만 6천명으로 4천명(1.1%), 여자는 59만 5천명으로 1만 2천명(2.1%) 각각 증가했다.
취업자 동향에서 취업자 및 고용률를 살펴보면, 2024년 2월 취업자는 165만 8천명으로 전년동월대비 3만 9천명(2.4%) 증가했다.
성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 94만 4천명으로 3만 1천명(3.4%), 여자는 71만 3천명으로 8천명(1.1%) 각각 증가했다.
고용률은 62.5%로 전년동월대비 0.4%p 상승했다.

직업별 취업자의 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 관리자ㆍ전문가 4만 7천명(15.0%), 사무종사자 9천명(3.1%) 각각 증가했으나, 기능·기계조작·조립·단순종사자는 1만 5천명(-2.4%), 서비스ㆍ판매종사자 3천명(-0.8%) 각각 감소했다.
성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 71.9%로 1.0%p 상승했고, 여자는 53.2%로 0.4%p 하락했다.
15~64세 고용률(OECD 비교 기준)은 68.5%로 전년동월대비 0.2%p 하락했다.
종사상 지위별 취업자에서 종사상 지위별로 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 임금근로자 2만 5천명(1.9%), 비임금근로자 1만 4천명(4.5%) 각각 증가했다.

실업자 동향를 보면, 2024년 2월 실업자는 6만 5천명으로 전년동월대비 7천명(-9.2%) 감소했다.
성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 3만 3천명으로 1만명(-23.6%) 감소했고, 여자는 3만 2천명으로 4천명(13.5%) 증가했다.
실업률은 3.8%로 전년동월대비 0.4%p 하락했다.
