파주소방서는 14일 어린이들의 위기대응 능력 배양과 안전 의식 향상을 위한 119이동안전체험차 운영을 지난 5일부터 파주·고양·일산 지역 대상으로 시작했다고 밝혔다.
운영 기간은 올해 3월부터 11월까지 9개월이며 어린이집·유치원(6~7세), 초등학생(1~2학년) 어린이가 대상인 점을 감안하여 안전사고가 우려되는 혹서기(7~8월), 혹한기(12~2월)와 우천, 강설, 폭염, 한파, 고농도 미세먼지 및 황사 등의 기상악화 시 운영 기간에서 제외된다.

119이동안전체험차는 전년 유치원·어린이집 등 93회, 21,249명에 대한 출장 교육을 하였고, 파주 장단콩 축제 등 대형 행사장에서 약 17,450을 교육하였다.
주요 교육내용으로는 ▲소화기·소화설비 체험 ▲지진 대피요령 ▲연기·미로 탈출 체험 ▲재난안전 시뮬레이션 ▲안전상식교육 ▲안전벨트 체험 등으로 어린이들의 소방안전 의식과 재난상황 시 대처능력 향상에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.
