윤석열 대통령이 18일 한·미재계회의 위원장을 접견하고 "한·미 간 경제협력 강화를 위해선 양국 재계 지지·기여가 필수적"이라며 미·한재계회의 관심을 당부했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
대통령실에 따르면 윤 대통령은 이날 용산 대통령실에서 에반 그린버그 미·한재계회의 위원장을 접견하고 미국 기업 투자 확대를 위한 지원을 요청하며 이같이 말했다.
글로벌 보험회사 '처브' CEO를 겸하고 있는 그린버그 위원장은 지난해 12월 제9대 미·한재계회의 위원장으로 선출된 가운데 한국 방문은 이번이 처음이다. 미국상공회의소 산하 한·미재계회의는 한·미 양국의 민간 차원 경제협력 논의 기구다.
