의왕시가 청년 전용 공간인 내에 새롭게 조성한 청년창업 지원공간 ‘의왕청년발전소’에 입주할 청년 창업가를 모집한다.
청년창업 지원공간은 2인석 1곳과 3인석 4곳 등 총 5개의 공간이 개방형으로 조성됐다. 입주 청년에게는 임대료 감면 혜택 및 캐비닛, 사무기기 등을 지원한다.

의왕청년발전소는 관내·외 청년 누구나 이용할 수 있는 청년 공간으로 2021년 9월 포일어울림센터 4층에 문을 열어 스터디룸(회의실), 강의실, 카페테리아, AI면접실 등을 운영하고 있다.
의왕시는 초기 및 예비 청년창업가가 경쟁력 있는 기업인으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 올해 의왕청년발전소 내 청년창업 지원공간 추가 운영을 결정했다.
입주 후 3개월 이내 사업자 등록이 가능한 예비창업자 및 창업 3년 이내인 초기 창업자라면 지역에 상관없이 누구나 신청할 수 있다. 자격 사항을 확인한 후 구비서류를 준비해 5월 7일부터 20일까지 담당자 이메일로 접수하면 된다. 서면 및 대면 심사를 거쳐 입주자를 최종 선발하며, 6월 3일부터 입주가 가능하다.
