경기도가 진로 관련 프로젝트 제안 청년 800명을 모집, 1인당 최대 500만 원까지 지원한다.
경기도일자리재단이 청년들의 도전을 지원하는 ‘경기청년 갭이어 프로그램’ 참여자를 오는 4월 26일까지 모집한다.
‘경기청년 갭이어 프로그램’은 민선 8기 대표 청년 정책으로 진로와 관련해 청년이 구상한 프로젝트를 제안하면 이를 구체화할 수 있도록 역량향상 프로그램, 멘토링과 1인 최대 500만원의 프로젝트 지원금을 지원한다.
올해 최종 선발 인원은 800명으로 경기도 청년들의 역량을 강화해 향후 취·창업의 기회를 확대 제공하고자 지난해 600명보다 확대됐다. 더 많은 청년들의 번뜩이는 아이디어를 구체화하고 실현하게 할 수 있도록 지원하고자 신청 자격을 확대했다.
경기도일자리재단은 우선 880명을 선발해 필수 참여 프로그램인 ‘탐색과 발견’ 종료 후, 참여도, 프로젝트 계획서 등을 중간 평가해 최종 프로젝트 참여자 800명을 확정할 계획이다.
신청 대상은 공고일 기준 경기도에 거주하고 있는 만 19세부터 39세 청년(1984년~2005년생)으로, 병역의무를 이행한 청년이라면 이행 기간만큼 신청 연령을 연장해 최대 1982년생까지 지원할 수 있다.
교육기간 필수과정인 ‘탐색과 발견’, ‘중간평가’와 ‘도전과 변화’ 등 집합교육에 필수 참여 가능한 청년이라면 취·창업 여부와 상관없이 신청 가능하다.
프로그램에 지원 가능한 총 19개 분야는 △디자인 △교육 △IT/SW △영화/드라마 △음악 △음식 △여행 △방송 △미용/패션 △AI/로봇 △사회복지 △스포츠 △환경/생태 △동물 △게임 △공학 △법/수사 △의료/바이오 △금융 등이다.
프로젝트 구성 방식은 팀과 개인 중 선택해 지원 가능하며, 팀의 경우 최대 3,000만 원까지 지원한다.
재단은 특히 원활한 프로젝트 진행을 위해 분야별 전문가 멘토링, 역량향상 교육, 직무적성 검사도 지원할 계획이다.

The ‘Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program’ is a representative youth policy of the 8th popular election that provides a capacity improvement program, mentoring, and a project subsidy of up to 5 million won per person to help youth materialize a project they have conceived in relation to their career.
