[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 제102회 어린이날을 맞아 5월 5일 오전 10시에 진주종합경기장 야외공연장 일원에서 ‘2024년 어린이날 기념행사’를 개최한다고 2일 밝혔다.
어린이날 기념행사는 미래 사회의 주역인 어린이가 건강하고 행복하게 자랄 수 있도록 어린이 사랑을 실천하고 어린이들에게 꿈과 희망을 심어주기 위해 매년 개최한다.
이번 기념행사는 공군의장대 동작시범공연, 고운빛소리합창단의 어린이날 노래 제창 등의 공연을 시작으로 아동친화 환경조성 유공에 대한 표창, 기념사, 내빈 축사 순으로 진행된다.
식후 행사는 퀴즈대회와 춤 경연대회 등 어린이가 직접 참여하는 경연대회와 마술쇼 공연과 에어바운스, 로봇물고기체험 등 몸으로 즐기는 각종 체험공간으로 구성됐다.
또 시민들이 좋아하는 진주시 대표관광캐릭터 하모를 활용한 포토존과 지역사회 자원과 연계한 각종 체험·홍보부스 운영 등으로 아동친화도시 진주를 홍보할 계획이다.
진주시 관계자는 “어린이가 행복한 하루를 위한 다채로운 볼거리와 다양한 즐길거리를 제공할 계획이다”며“ 가족 간에 행복한 시간을 만끽하길 바란다”고 말했다.
