브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 농협중앙회는 지난 6일 집중호우로 인해 침수 피해를 입은 경남 합천 대양면 일대 피해현장을 방문하고 피해 농업인을 위로했다고 7일 밝혔다.
지난 4일부터 6일까지 남부지방을 중심으로 내린 폭우는 지역별 최대 280mm의 강수량을 기록했으며, 경남 합천군의 두 마을이 침수돼 48가구가 침수됐고, 주민 55명이 인근 복지센터로 대피했다.
6일 직접 침수피해 현장을 찾은 강호동 회장은 “때 이른 집중호우로 인해 고통을 받고 계시는 주민들을 보니 마음이 아프다”며 “하루빨리 아픔에서 벗어나 제자리로 돌아가실 수 있게 농협도 최선을 다해 도와드리겠다”고전했다.
농협은 침수지역 대상으로 긴급 구호키트·생필품 및 세탁차를 지원하고, 침수 피해 확인 후에는 복구 일손돕기, 도배·장판 교체 등 이재민들의 일상복귀를 최대한 지원할 계획이다.
