울진군종합자원봉사센터, 2024년 국가재난관리 유공 대통령 표창 수상

27일 울진군(군수 손병복)에 따르면 국가재난관리 유공 정부포상은 매년 지역사회의 안전을 위해 헌신적으로 노력하는 개인 및 단체의 공로 인정과 격려를 위하여 수여하는 정부포상이다.

울진군종합자원봉사센터는 지난 울진 대형 산불, 경북지역의 집중호우, 강원도 고성 산불, 충남지역 집중호우, 태풍 피해 복구 등 다양한 재난·재해 상황에서 헌신한 공로를 인정받아 수상하였다.

울진군은 평소 재난·재해 예방을 위하여 ‘행복마을 사랑배달’ 사업을 통해 마을 주민들에게 화재감지기 설치와 소화기 보급 등의 예방 활동을 적극적으로 펼치고, '1365동네방네 긴급지원사업’을 통해 화재 발생 가구에 임시거소를 제공하여위기 상황에서도 주민들이 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 노력하고 있다.

또한 '참! 좋은 사랑의 밥차’ 운영으로 재난 현장에서 이재민들에게 따뜻한 식사를제공함으로써 긴급한 구호 활동의 일환으로 큰 역할을 하고 있다.
