[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 매주 금요일 자유롭고 편안한 복장으로 근무하는 ‘캐주얼데이’를 운영한다고 28일 밝혔다.
이날은 정장을 대신해 점퍼, 티셔츠, 면바지, 청바지와 같은 편안한 일상복을 입도록 권장해 수직적 경직된 공직문화를 직원의 개성을 존중하는 창의적이고 수평적인 문화로 바꿔 갈 방침이다.
특히 일반 직원에 비해 정장을 주로 입는 간부 공무원을 대상으로 금요일 하루만이라도 편안한 옷차림을 권장해 시행 효과를 높인다.
직원들은 “옷이 편안하니 마음도 편안해지는 느낌이다. 사무실 분위기도 더 활기가 넘치는 것 같고 상하 간에도 보다 친근한 마음이 든다”고 말했다.
홍태용 시장은 “공직 내부 관행적 요소들을 하나하나 줄여 유연하고 창의적인 조직문화를 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
