이번 회의는 부군수(박세은) 주재로군청 관계부서 및 유관기관(울진소방서, 울진경찰서, 제5312부대 15해안감시기동대, 포항국토관리사무소 울진출장소, 한국전력공사 울진지사 등)이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
회의에서는 경상북도 도지자 주재 영상회의를 참관하고, 군청 관계부서 및 유관기관별 여름철 풍수해 대비 사전 준비사항과 향후 대처계획을 논의했다.
더불어 재난상황 발생 시 유관기관과의 상호 협조 방안에 대한 협의도 이어졌다.
박세은 부군수는“지구 온난화에 따른 기후변화로 자연 재난대응이 어려운 상황”이라며“위험 마을별 담당 공무원을 지정하고 인명피해 최소화를 위하여 관계부서 및 유관기관의 유기적인 협력체계를 구축하여 사전 대비에 최선을 다해주기를 바란다”라고 당부했다.
한편 울진군은 군민들이 재난·재해로부터 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 사전점검 및 조치에 총력을 다하고 있다.
우수기 집중호우로 인한 하천 범람 등으로 인한 수해에 대비하고자 울진군 전역 준설 사업을 추진하였으며, 재해취약 가구 및 각종 사업장 안전 점검, 관광객 안전관리에 철저를 기하고 있다.
또한 올해부터 군민 안전보험 보장 범위를 확대하여 최고 3,000만 원 한도의 혜택을 받을 수 있게 되었다.
