[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시의 동부지역에 비해 낙후된 서부지역 개발을 통해 동서지역의 균형 있는 발전을 달성하고자 김해시 진례면 송정리 외 5개 리 일원에 복합스포츠 레저시설 조성사업이 순조롭게 진행되고 있다.
이 사업은 2008년 3월 8일 개발제한구역을 해제해 6,300가구 규모의 도시개발사업과 골프장 및 운동장 등 체육시설을 조성하고 이와 연결하는 진입도로 개설을 추진하는 사업이다.
김해시(37.86%), 군인공제회(46,37%), 코레일테크(주)(15.77%)가 주주로 참여한 ㈜록인김해레스포타운이 사업시행자로 지정됐으며, 민간자본을 투입하여 2019년부터 진례시례지구 도시개발사업을 시작으로 본격적인 사업을 진행하고 있다.
현재 진례시례지구 도시개발사업은 99% 공정률로 조성 중이며, 오는 10월에 전용주거용지를 제외한 구역을 먼저 부분 준공할 계획이며, 2026년 10월에 전체 준공 예정이다.
공동주택용지는 8개 단지 중 6개 단지를 2022년 3월 공급(일반입찰)했으며, 380가구 단독주택용지는 2025년 초에 공급 예정으로 서부지역에 대단지 주택단지가 조성됨으로써 정주환경 개선, 인구 유입 및 지역경제 활성화에 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
