Los Angeles, CA – Young Man Kang, a prominent filmmaker and content creator, has been the founder and festival director of the esteemed Hollywood Series since 2017. Originally named Asia Web Awards, it was the first online webfest in the world. In 2022, it was renamed Hollywood Series to aim more towards the mainstream in Hollywood. Hollywood Series is now gearing up for its highly anticipated 8th annual event and is open for submissions from all over the world.

Hollywood Series 2024 is an international web and film festival that caters to the mainstream market of OTT platforms, reaching audiences from Hollywood to all corners of the world. We are seeking submissions from all types of OTT platforms, including web series (both long and short forms), streaming feature films and short films, web documentary series, shorts, TikToks, Instagram Reels, web movies or films (shorts or features), web series, web dramas, vlogs, trailers, pilots, music videos, dance videos, and podcasts.

A Global Platform for Creators
Hollywood Series has an official partner in LA WEBFEST, the very first web series festival in the world, and collaborates with 50 international webfests worldwide. Our goals for 2024 are to expand the festival, making it a viable provider of quality content on an international scale. Our intention is to create a place that nurtures and cultivates upcoming creators. Hollywood Series specifically helps independent filmmakers and creators to raise their visibility through the web.
