[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 올해 첫 추가경정 예산안을 2조395억원 규모를 편성해 8일 진주시의회에 제출했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 추가경정예산안은 도시 경쟁력 강화를 위한 주요 현안사업의 안정적인 추진과 취약계층 지원, 지역경제 활력 제고에 중점을 두고 편성, 본예산 1조8417억원 보다 1978억원(10.7%)이 증액됐다.
회계별로는 일반회계가 1837억원 증가한 1조6753억원, 특별회계가 141억원 증가한 3642억원으로 국?도비보조금과 지방교부세, 세외수입 등을 재원으로 편성했다.
조규일 진주시장은 “이번 추가경정예산안은 미래지역경제 발전과 민생안정을 위해 꼭 필요한 사업 위주로 편성했다”며 “예산이 확정되면 부강한 진주 구현에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 진주시가 제출한 2024년도 제1회 추경예산안은 오는 18일부터 29일까지 열리는 진주시의회 제258회 임시회에서 심의?의결을 거쳐 최종 확정될 예정이다.
