(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천여성청소년재단 산울림청소년센터가 오는 9월 7일 부천시 상동 호수공원에서 ‘제14회 부천시장배 오리엔티어링대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
센터에 따르면, 오리엔티어링은 자연 속에서 지도와 나침반을 가지고 정해진 시간 내에 목표물을 가장 많이, 빨리 찾아서 돌아오는 스포츠로 주로 숲 속이나 산이 결합된 공원에서 많이 진행된다.
산울림청소년센터는 청소년과 시민들이 오리엔티어링 스포츠에 누구나 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 부천시 지형에 맞춰 매년 대회를 개최하고 있다.
올해로 14회를 맞이한 대회는 자연 생태가 조화롭게 조성된 상동 호수공원에서 청소년·가족 클래스로 나뉘어 진행된다.
청소년 클래스는 뛰어오리(12~15년생), 날아오리(06~11년생) 2인 1조로 참가 접수할 수 있고, 가족 클래스는 아기오리가족(16~20년생 자녀를 둔 가족), 어린오리가족(12~15년생 자녀를 둔 가족), 청춘오리가족(06~11년생 자녀를 둔 가족)으로 참가할 수 있다. 접수는 오는 8월 16일 24시까지 가능하다.
이번 대회에는 사전접수로 진행되는 청소년·가족 클래스뿐만 아니라 현장에서 오리엔티어링을 체험해 볼 수 있는 미로, 모바일 경기와 친환경 체험 부스 등도 운영되어 부천시 청소년과 시민들에게 즐거운 주말을 선사할 예정이다.
