<July 24, 2024. Los Angeles> Filmmaker Young Man Kang’s ‘Prayer International Series’ episode 12, Prayer Rio, is nominated for Best Web Series and Best Actress Priscila Buair at the Panama Series Festival 2024.
The 3rd Annual Panama Series Festival showcases TV series, pilots, and shorts, highlighting filmmakers from around the world from the Central American isthmus.
Prayer Rio features Brazilian actors Priscila Buiar, Amanda Simao and Valleria Freire, and is a collaboration between YMK Films, Hollywood Series Corp., Charlotte Producoes, and Rio Webfest.
Priscila Buiar, born in Maringá, Paraná, is a Brazilian actress and model known for her roles in Magenta (2018) and Stupid Wife Series (2022~3).

'Prayer International Series' follows young individuals pursuing their dreams in cities worldwide, with each episode reflecting the local culture. The series has shot episodes in El Salvador and Atlanta, adding to its success with 14 episodes already produced, showcasing cities like Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Vancouver, Toronto, Lima, Cusco, Frankfurt, Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro, Sal Salvador, and Atlanta, with more to come.
Hollywood Series Corp. and YMK Films’ ‘Prayer International Series’ revolves around faith-based themes. The series is known for its innovative use of iPhone technology and vertical cinema format.
