이창섭 충청권 하계세계대학경기대회 조직위 부위원장이 1일 직원을 대상으로 특강하고 3년 남은 대회 준비를 위한 방향성을 확고히 했다.
이날 이창섭 부위원장은 ‘의미있게 다른 U-대회 준비’를 주제로 ‘최고(the best one)보다 유일함(the only one)’이 우리가 추구해야 할 준비임을 강조해 조직위의 업무 방향성과 합리적인 조직문화 형성을 주문했다.
이 부위원장은 “성공적인 대회 준비를 위해 어떻게 경쟁력을 갖춰야 하는지,이러한 경쟁력을 위해 남보다 잘함보다는 남과 다름이 중요하며, 이전과 다르게 생각하기(Think Different)와 다른 더 좋은 방법은 없을까? 하는 질문을 생활화해야 한다”고 역설했다.
그는 “특히 직원과 유관기관, 4개 시.도 등 모든 사람들과 정보공유와 활발한 소통이 창의적이고 효과적인 아이디어를 만들어 낸다”며 근무방식의 변화를 강조했다.
참석자들은 “특강을 통해 조직위의 대회 준비 방향성과 조직문화를 이해할 수 있었다”며, “자신감을 가지고 업무에 임해 성공적인 대회 준비를 해 나갈 것”이라고 소감을 전했다.
조직위는 향후에도 특강 시간을 마련해 구성원의 전문성을 지속적으로 발전시키고 경쟁력을 높여 나갈 계획이다.
한편, 2027년 열리는 충청권 하계세계대학경기대회는 전 세계 대학생들이 모여 펼치는 국제스포츠 이벤트로 2027년 8월 1일부터 12일까지 12일간 대전·세종·충북·충남 4개 시도 일원에서 개최된다. 150여 개국 1만 5,000여 명이 참가해 총 18개 종목으로 진행될 예정이다.
