(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 오는 8월 16일까지 ‘2024 인천 독서대전’ 홍보 및 운영지원을 위한 ‘대학생 서포터즈’ 20여 명을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면,‘인천 독서대전’은 도서관을 중심으로 서점, 출판, 문화, 교육계 등 독서공동체가 유기적으로 연대하여 폭넓은 독서문화를 확산시키고자 매년 추진하는 인천의 대표적인 독서 행사다.
작년에는 대학생 서포터즈가 청년층의 참신한 아이디어를 독서콘텐츠와 결합해 온·오프라인 행사 홍보와 홍보부스를 운영했다.
당시 행사장 일대를 배경으로 진행한 ‘제물포 탐정단’을 기획·운영해 참여자들의 큰 호평을 받은 바 있다.
올해 2기째인 대학생 서포터즈는 8월 22일부터 행사 종료일인 9월 29일까지 약 한 달간 인천 독서대전 관련 사항을 사회관계망서비스(SNS)·블로그·유튜브 등에 홍보한다.
또, 행사 기획 실무 전반을 보조하며 행사 기간 중 현장 지원 등의 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
독서콘텐츠, 홍보 및 마케팅, 행사 기획 및 운영에 관심 있는 대학생이라면 누구나 온라인 폼을 통해 신청할 수 있다.

한편, ‘2024 인천 독서대전’은 오는 9월 28일부터 9월 29일까지 청라호수공원 야외음악당 일대와 청라호수도서관에서 ‘책, 인간다움을 읽다’라는 주제로 열린다.
개막행사, 강연, 포럼, 토론, 공연, 체험행사, 전시 등 다양한 독서문화 행사로 시민들과 만날 예정이다.

또한, 인천시 시립박물관이 오는 8월 17일 토요일에 성인 교육프로그램 ‘대불호텔에서 중화루까지...’를 진행한다고 밝혔다.
시립박물관에 따르면, 1884년 건립된 우리나라 최초의 호텔인 대불호텔의 역사와 이후 같은 건물에서 운영된 중화루의 이야기를 다룬다.
참가자들은 대불호텔과 중화루의 이야기를 들으며, 이 건물을 미니어처로 만들어보는 시간을 갖게 된다.
이 프로그램은 원래 시립박물관의 주말 가족 교육프로그램이지만, 8월에는 특별히 20~30대 성인을 대상으로 한 이벤트 수업을 개설했다.
프로그램 일부는 2030세대에 맞게 내용을 바꿔 편성했다.
프로그램은 8월 17일 토요일 오후 3시부터 2시간 동안 진행되며, 인천시 온라인통합예약 누리집에서 오는 5일부터 14일까지 20명을 선착순으로 접수받는다.
