브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 오는 26일까지 ‘선호번호 추첨 이벤트’를 진행한다고 6일 밝혔다. 선호번호는 식별이 용이한 휴대전화 번호 뒤 4자리로 고객들의 선호도가 높은 번호이다.
이번에 KT에서 응모할 수 있는 선호번호는 AAAA, 000A, A000, AA00, 00AA, ABAB, ABCD, ABCD-ABCD 형식의 번호와 특정 의미를 갖고 있는 번호(1004, 2580 등)를 포함한 총 1만 개로, 1인당 최대 3개까지 응모 가능하다.
KT는 지난해부터 추첨을 통해 제공하는 선호번호를 연간 1만 개로 늘려 고객의 당첨 확률을 높였다. 통상적으로 가장 인기 있는 선호번호는 국번과 뒷자리 번호가 똑같은 ‘ABCD-ABCD’형이다.
선호번호를 원하는 고객은 KT 매장 및 공식 홈페이지 KT닷컴, 모바일 고객센터 마이케이티 앱을 통해 응모할 수 있다. KT 고객뿐 아니라 타 통신사 및 알뜰폰(MVNO) 이용 고객도 참여 가능하다.
