브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 내달 10일 삼성전자 서울R&D캠퍼스에서 ‘제8회 삼성 보안 기술 포럼(Samsung Security Tech Forum, SSTF)’을 개최하며, 12일부터 참가 접수를 시작한다.
‘삼성 보안 기술 포럼’은 삼성전자가 정보 보안 기술 저변 확대와 인재 양성을 위해 2017년부터 매년 개최해 온 행사로, 세계적인 보안 전문가들과 학계·업계 관계자들이 참가해 보안 기술 분야의 최신 성과를 공유하는 자리다.
올해로 8회째를 맞은 이번 ‘삼성 보안 기술 포럼’은 ‘생성형 AI와 함께하는 보안: 생성형 지능과 함께 안전한 미래로 (Security with GenAI: Safeguarding the Future with Generative Intelligence)’라는 주제로 진행된다.
올해 행사에서는 삼성전자 DX부문 최고기술책임자(CTO)겸 삼성리서치장 전경훈 사장의 환영사에 이어, 삼성전자 삼성리서치 시큐리티 & 프라이버시팀 김태수 상무가 기조 강연을 할 예정이다.
이후, △미국 뉴욕대학교 컴퓨터공학부 브렌든 돌란 가빗 (Brendan Dolan-Gavitt) 교수 △카이스트 전기 및 전자공학부 윤인수 교수 △포스텍 컴퓨터공학과 박상돈 교수의 초청 강연이 이어진다.
또한, 올해는 세션을 더욱 다채롭게 구성해 △보안 분야 대표 학회 논문 저자들의 연구 내용 △고객의 제품 및 데이터 보호를 위한 삼성리서치의 보안 분야 주요 연구 내용과 사업부의 보안 활동 △AI를 활용한 보안 취약점 조기 발견을 위한 활동 등 다양한 내용을 소개할 예정이다.
매년 좋은 반응을 얻었던 보안 체험존 역시 올해도 마련되며, AI 보안에 대한 기술 시연 및 현장 체험 행사로 진행된다. AI 도구를 활용한 취약점 탐지, 해킹 체험 등 다양한 콘텐츠가 준비될 예정이다.
삼성전자 전경훈 사장은 “AI 기술은 보안 분야에도 혁신적인 변화를 가져올 것으로 기대된다”며 “이번 행사는 AI 보안 분야의 전문가들로부터 경험과 통찰력을 배울 수 있는 좋은 기회로, 보안 기술의 미래와 안전한 디지털 환경 구축에 대해 논하는 중요한 자리가 될 것이다”고 말했다.
