한중도시우호협회는 8월13일 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 13일 중국 저장(浙江)성 자싱(嘉興)시 인민정부 외사판공실의 초청으로 자싱시를 방문해 선원핑(沈文平) 주임등과 교류 간담회를 열었다”고 알렸다.
자료에 따르면, 이날 간담회에는 한중도시우호협회에서 권 회장과 리춘샤오(李存孝) 부회장과 탕단(唐丹) 한중경제협력센터 저장성 대표처 비서장, 왕우양(王伍陽) 부대표 등이 참석했으며, 자싱시에서는 선원핑(沈文平) 외사판공실 주임과 진쿤(金昆) 과장, 스웨이(徐偉) 자싱시 스웨터 산업협회 비서장 등이 참석했다.
권기식 회장은 "김구 선생 피난처 유적지가 있고 한국 기업들이 많이 진출한 자싱시는 한국인들이 관심 을 갖는 특별한 중국 도시"라며 "자싱시가 한중 지방정부 교류를 선도해주기 바란다"고 말했다.
선원핑(沈文平) 외사판공실 주임은 "자싱의 친구인 권 회장의 방문을 환영한다"며 "오는 10월 자싱시 대표단이 한국을 방문할 때 한중도시우호협회를 꼭 찾아가겠다"고 말했다.
권기식 회장은 간담회 후 선 주임 등과 오찬을 함께 하며 한중 우의를 다졌다. 권 회장은 이어 선원핑 자싱시 외사판공실 주임과 김구 선생 피난처를 방문하고 1만2천개의 점포가 있는 자싱시 의류 도매시장을 둘러봤다.
한중도시우호협회와 자싱시 스웨터 산업협회는 오는 10월 서울에서 경제협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결하기로 이날 합의했다. 자싱시는 인구 550만명의 경제 도시로 100여개의 한국 기업들이 진출해 있다.
권기식 회장은 이에 앞서 지난 12일 항저우(杭州)시 상청(上城)구 소재 항저우 한국무역관을 방문해 송익준 무역관장과 한중 이커머스 교류 등에 대해 간담회를 진행했다.
