브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 엔씨소프트가 아마존게임즈와 MMORPG(다중접속역할수행게임) ‘THRONE AND LIBERTY(쓰론 앤 리버티, TL)’의 글로벌 서비스를 오는 10월 1일(이하 현지 기준) 시작한다.
TL 글로벌 퍼블리셔 아마존게임즈는 이달 16일 공식 홈페이지를 통해, 론칭 일자를 10월 1일로 변경했다고 밝혔다. 엔씨와 아마존게임즈는 이용자 테스트 피드백을 반영하여 전투, 성장, 길드 매칭 등 주요 콘텐츠를 개선한다. 최근 국내 업데이트에서 호평을 받은 ‘스킬 특화’와 ‘생활형 콘텐츠(낚시, 요리, 아미토이 원정)’ 등도 글로벌 버전에 적용한다.
엔씨와 아마존게임즈는 글로벌 서비스 론칭에 앞서, 지난 7월 18일부터 24일까지 TL OBT(Open Beta Test)를 진행했다. 스팀DB에 따르면 테스트 첫 날 6만명 이상의 최고동시접속자를 기록하며, 스팀(Steam)에서 서비스 중인 MMORPG 장르 중 가장 많은 이용자가 모였다.
