브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 SBS골프와 협업해 삼성 TV 플러스에서 한국여자프로골프(KLPGA) 투어 ‘한화 클래식 2024’ 대회를 생중계 한다.
‘한화 클래식 2024’는 오는 22일부터 25일까지 강원도 춘천 제이드팰리스 골프클럽에서 열리며, 2024시즌 가장 많은 상금이 걸린 국내 5대 KLPGA 메이저대회다.
‘KLPGA 라이브 채널’은 822번에서 시청 가능하며, 오는 21일 까지는 지난 6월에 열린 ‘DB그룹 한국여자오픈’의 재방송과 하이라이트 영상 등을 서비스할 예정이다.
삼성 TV 플러스는 다양한 콘텐츠를 무료로 즐길 수 있는 광고 기반 무료 스트리밍(Free Ad-supported Streaming TV, FAST) 서비스로 시작했다.
지난해 12월 VOD 서비스를 선보이며 1000여개의 콘텐츠를 시간 관계없이 즐길 수 있게 됐다. 또한 지난 7월 7일에는 첫돌을 맞이하는 국내 최초 쌍둥이 판다 루이바오와 후이바오의 돌잡이를 생중계하며, 국내 FAST 채널 최초로 라이브 스트리밍 서비스를 선보였다.

PGA Tour를 비롯해 JTBC 골프, TV조선 골프왕 등 골프 관련 채널뿐 아니라 야구, 축구, 배구 등 다양한 스포츠 콘텐츠를 지속 강화하고 있다.
삼성 TV 플러스에서 △최강야구 △FIFA+ △뭉쳐야찬다 △핑크드림 175 등 다양한 스포츠 콘텐츠를 시청할 수 있다.
삼성전자 영상디스플레이사업부 최용훈 부사장은 “삼성 TV 플러스를 통해 국내 FAST 플랫폼 중 처음으로 스포츠 경기 생중계를 선보이게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 골프를 포함해 더욱 많은 스포츠 팬들이 함께할 수 있는 경기와 즐길거리를 선사할 계획이다”고 말했다.
한편, 삼성 TV 플러스는 모바일 앱에서도 시청 가능하며 갤럭시스토어나 구글 플레이스토어에서 다운받을 수 있다.
