대통령실이 20일 이재명 대표에게 윤석열 대통령 당선 축하 난을 보내려는 연락을 받지 못했다는 더불어민주당 주장을 "궤변"이라고 반박했다.
대통령실 관계자는 이날 "민주당 측이 축하 난 전달을 위한 대통령실의 수차례 연락을 잘 알고 있으면서도 억지스레 책임 전가를 하는 게 상식적이지 않다"며 "대통령 축하마저도 정치적으로 이용하는 것에 개탄스럽다"고 밝혔다.
그러면서 "2022년 이재명 당대표 선출 당시 대통령실 예방을 받고 축하 난을 받아 놓고 이번엔 '예방은 조율했으나 축하 난인지 몰랐다'는 건 궤변 아닌가"라고 반문했다.
