‘열린 채용’을 내건 스타벅스가 하반기 바리스타 공개채용에 나섰다.
스타벅스 코리아(대표이사 손정현)가 8월 25일까지 하반기 바리스타 공개채용을 진행한다고 8월 21일 밝혔다.
이번 하반기 바리스타 공개채용은 ▲주 25시간(주말 포함) 일 5시간 ▲주 15시간(주말 포함) 일 3시간 ▲주 16시간(주말 전용) 일 8시간 근무 등 다양한 근로유형 중 지원자 본인의 희망하는 조건에 따라 선택 지원이 가능하다.
바리스타 지원 자격은 만 18세 이상으로 누구든지 성별, 학력, 장애에 관계없이 지원 가능하며, 식품접객업 종사자 필수 요건으로 근무 시작일에 건강진단결과서(보건증)를 소지해야 한다.
하반기 바리스타 공개채용은 서류, 면접 전형을 거치며 최종 합격한 바리스타 지원자는 오는 10월 14일부터 순차적으로 입사를 진행해 전국 매장에서 수습 바리스타로 근무 후 평가 결과에 따라 정규 바리스타로 전환된다.

스타벅스는 정기적으로 바리스타 공개채용을 진행하며 바리스타 꿈을 키우는 파트너를 모집하고 있다. 지난 상반기 바리스타 공개채용을 통해 채용된 바리스타들은 현재 전국 매장에서 정규 바리스타로 근무하고 있다.
특히, 스타벅스는 ‘차별 없는 열린 채용’을 진행하며 다양한 지원자를 모집하고 있다. 실제로 스타벅스는 지난해 업계 최초로 외국인 바리스타 공개채용을 진행했으며, 그중 한 외국인 파트너는 올해 중간관리자인 수퍼바이저로 승격했다.

Starbucks, which promised 'open recruitment', has begun open recruitment for baristas in the second half of the year.
Starbucks Korea (CEO Jung-Hyun Son) announced on August 21 that it will be hiring baristas for the second half of the year until August 25.
The open recruitment for baristas in the second half of the year will offer a variety of work types, including ▲ 5 hours a day for 25 hours a week (including weekends), ▲ 3 hours a day for 15 hours a week (including weekends), and ▲ 8 hours a day for 16 hours a week (weekends only).
Barista applicants are eligible to apply regardless of gender, education, or disability if they are 18 years old or older, and must possess a health certificate (health certificate) on the first day of work as a mandatory requirement for food service workers.
The second half of the barista open recruitment will go through a document and interview process, and those who pass will be hired sequentially from October 14, and will work as a trainee barista at stores nationwide, and will be converted to regular baristas based on the evaluation results.

In particular, Starbucks is an open, non-discriminatory recruiting program that attracts diverse applicants. In fact, Starbucks was the first in the industry to openly recruit foreign baristas last year, and one of its foreign partners was promoted to supervisor this year.
In May, Starbucks launched a new fast-track hiring process for select stores to accommodate the growing number of applicants who want to complete Starbucks' rigorous barista training.
