광주시 참나무그룹홈, 보건복지부 장관 표창 수상

제25회 사회복지의 날 기념 사회복지시설평가 유공 표창에서 사회복지시설의 서비스 향상에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.

11일 시에 따르면 이번 표창은 공적, 여론 등 다양한 의견수렴을 반영하고 공적 기여도, 사회적 평가 등을 종합적으로 검토해 선정했으며 경기도 아동 공동생활가정 중에서 유일하게 참나무그룹홈이 수상하게 됐다.

참나무그룹홈은 지난 2011년 광주시 최초로 아동 공동생활가정으로 설립해 학대 피해 및 방임 아동에 대한 가정형 보호 체계를 지역사회에 안착시켰으며 보건복지부에서 3년마다 전국 529개소 아동 공동생활가정을 대상으로 시행하는 사회복지시설 평가에서 2회 연속(2020년, 2023년) A등급을 받으며 ‘우수시설’로 선정되는 등 사회복지 증진에 공헌한 바가 크다.
