김포시, 자원순환시설 현장 행정 실시

지난 19일 현장 여건과 근무 현황 등을 점검하고 현장 관계자를 격려했다.

김포시 자원화센터는 김포한강신도시에서 발생하여 크린넷을 통해 수거되는 생활폐기물을 소각 및 재활용하고 있다. 김포시 재활용수집소는 시 전역에서 발생하는 재활용 가능한 폐기물을 수거하여 선별해 재활용될 수 있도록 판매하는 방식으로 폐기물을 줄이고 시 재정에도 일조하고 있다.

김포시에서 발생되는 일반쓰레기는 종량제봉투를 사용하며 재활용 가능한 폐기물은 깨끗한 상태로 분리배출하여 또 다른 자원으로 활용되고 있다. 특히 환경오염과 자원의 낭비를 방지하기 위한 폐기물 분리배출은 김포시민들의 성숙한 시민의식이 필요하여 이를 위해 시에서는 거점 분리배출시설 설치와 찾아가는 폐자원 교환사업 등 다양한 시책을 펼치고 있다.
