[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 고독사 위험군에게 생활밀착형 쿠폰을 지급하는 ‘나와, 위드미(with me)’ 사업을 시작한다.
관내 중장년 1인가구, 독거어르신 가구 등 고독사 위험군에게 고립적 일상에서 벗어날 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 시는 오는 25일부터 반찬 구입, 외식 등이 가능한 생활밀착형 쿠폰을 지급한다.
고립가구가 쿠폰을 사용하며 자연스레 이웃 관계망을 형성하고 이를 통해 심리적 안정과 사회적 지지를 얻을 수 있도록 하는 것이 이 사업의 목적이다.
사업내용은 고독사 생활실태조사를 통해 발굴된 가구에 쿠폰을 제공해 지역 내 업체에서 반찬을 구입하거나 외식을 할 수 있도록 외출을 유도하는 것이다. 가구원 수에 따라 회당 2~5만 원 상당의 쿠폰을 3회 제공한다.
쿠폰 사용처는 그간 지역 내 복지자원 발굴·지원 활동에 참여해 온 후원업체이다. 고립가구를 지원하는 동시에 영세업체에서 쿠폰을 사용하며 지역상권 활성화도 도모할 수 있다는 게 시의 설명이다.
박승원 광명시장은 “사회적 고립 없는 사회를 만들기 위해서는 실질적인 생활지원과 함께 관계 형성을 통한 신뢰가 필요하다”며 “고립된 이웃이 없도록 지역공동체 인적안전망 구축을 통해 더 촘촘한 발굴, 더 든든한 지원, 더 안전한 관리로 고독사를 예방하겠다”고 전했다.
아울러 광명시는 고독사 제로화를 위한 민관 네트워크 강화에 방점을 두고 지난 3월 고독사 예방대책 보고대회 개최해 당시 제안된 의견을 반영한 중장년 1인가구 대상 유산균 음료 배달 사업을 통해 고립 가구 발굴과 안부 확인 모니터링을 강화하고 있다.
이외에도 지난 7월부터 ▲중장년 1인가구 실태조사 ▲복지등기우편서비스 ▲고독사예방 안부확인 스마트돌봄 ▲광명형 지역사회통합돌봄사업 ▲고독사 유품정리 및 특수청소 등 고독사 예방을 위한 총 23개 사업을 추진 중이다.
한편 지난 19일 오후 광명시인생플러스센터 강당에서 ‘나와, 위드미(with me)’ 후원금 전달식이 개최됐다.
이날 행사에는 사업을 후원하는 광명시사회복지협의회, 18개 동 지역사회보장협의체 관계자 등 20여 명이 참석해 고독사 위험군 생활환경 개선에 힘을 모으기로 뜻을 함께했다.
향후 18개 동 지역사회보장협의체는 대상자 발굴과 대상자 가정방문을 통한 사업 안내 등의 활동을 하며 원활한 사업 추진을 도울 예정이다.
