브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= MG새마을금고 지역희망나눔재단은 지난 4월부터 한국청년회의소와 연계해 어린이들이 범죄에 대한 안전수칙과 예방법을 습득하고, 문화혜택이 부족한 지방에 체험활동 기회를 제공하기 위하여 어린이 범죄예방 뮤지컬을 실시하고 있다고 25일 밝혔다.
MG새마을금고 재단은 2019년부터 아동복지 지원사업으로 어린이범죄예방 뮤지컬 지원을 통해 지역에 문화혜택을 제공하고 있다. 5년 동안 50개소 지역에서 2만3678명 이상의 어린이들이 공연을 관람했으며, 올해는 11회 공연에서 약 6500여명의 어린이들이 관람을 마쳤다.
올해 충북 제천 공연을 시작으로 8월까지 순천, 한림, 중문, 강진, 인제, 남대구, 봉화, 성남, 양산, 평택에서 총 11회 진행됐으며, 9월 이후로는 강원과 경북 지역 공연을 시작으로 14회의 추가 지방공연이 진행될 예정이다.
이번 뮤지컬은 어린이들이 범죄에 대한 안전수칙과 예방법을 쉽게 습득할 수 있도록 내용이 구성돼있다. 특히, 올해는 공연횟수를 늘려서 2개의 극단이 로테이션으로 공연을 하고 있다.
