[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시의 대표 자활사업인 ‘밥과함께라면’ 3호점이 25일 개소했다.
자활근로사업단이 운영하는 ‘밥과 함께라면’은 저소득 취약계층의 일자리 창출과 경제적 자립을 돕기 위해 전국 최초로 용인에서 운영 중인 자활사업이다.
지난 2018년 8월 용인지역자활센터가 기흥구 동백동에 최초로 사회서비스형 사업단으로 시작한 분식점인 ‘밥과함께라면’은 3호점을 개소할 정도로 좋은 성과를 거두면서 자활사업단의 브랜드 기반을 구축하고 있다.
1호점 개점 후 시의 지원을 받고 자립역량을 키운 이 사업은 매출이 증가하면서 시장진입형 분식사업단으로 성장했고, 지난해 8월 자활기업으로 독립했다.
이날 3호점 개소식에는 이상일 용인특례시장과 용인시의회 의원, 지역자활센터 운영 법인인 용인YMCA 관계자들이 참석해 ‘밥과 함께라면’ 3호점에서 근무하는 자활근로자의 미래를 응원했다.
이상일 시장은 ‘밥과함께라면’ 3호점의 성공을 기원하는 뜻을 담아 황금돼지 저금통을 매장에 선물했다.
수익금은 매장 운영에 필요한 경비와 자활 활성화 지원금으로 사용하고, 남은 수익은 자활근로자에게 인센티브로 지급된다.
시 관계자는 “타 지역에서 ’밥과함께라면‘의 레시피와 운영 노하우, 가맹 문의가 이어지고 있다”며 “자립을 꿈꾸는 참여자들의 역량을 강화할 수 있는 교육을 마련하고, 경제적 자립에 성공할 수 있도록 다양한 지원 방안을 마련할 것”이라고 말했다.
